"PARALYMPICS NEW ZEALAND PIN & WIN" SERIES 2 PROMOTION
HOW TO ENTER
To be eligible to enter, individuals must during the promotional period purchase a pin to the value of NZ$10.00 or NZ$50.00 and will receive a scratch card.
The entrant must scratch their card to reveal whether or not they have won an instant prize. To claim a prize, entrants will be required to complete the back of their original scratch card by inserting their requested details and send their winning scratch card to Paralympics New Zealand “Pin & Win” PO Box 99248 Newmarket, Auckland 1149 so that it is received by 5pm (New Zealand Local Time) on 27/05/2011. Allow 28 days for receipt of prize. Instant winners who send in their cards will be automatically entered into the major prize draw. The Promoter recommends that winners use registered post; however, this is not a condition of entry and the cost to do so will be the responsibility of the winner.
For non-instant winners to enter the major prize draw, they must complete the back of their original game card by inserting their requested details and then send it to “Paralympics New Zealand “Pin & Win” PO Box 99178 Auckland City, Auckland 1149. Or log on to www.parlympics.org.nz and complete the online entry form. Entries for the major prize draw must be received by 5pm on 27/05/2011.

9. $50 purchasers will be automatically given 5 entries into the draw when they log online to enter their details on www.paralympics.org.nz . $50 purchasers, who post in their entry, will also be entered into the draw 5 times.
10. All instant win cash prizes will be awarded in the form of a cheque. If additional scratch cards are issued within the promotional period (at the discretion of the Promoter) in response to additional sales of pins, the instant win prizes will increase in proportion to the aforementioned cash prizes and maintaining the same chances of winning.
11. If any prize (or part of any prize) is unavailable, the Promoter, in its discretion, reserves the right to substitute the prize (or that part of the prize) with a prize to an equal value and/or specification, subject to any written directions from a regulatory authority.
12. Total prize pool is valued at up to NZ$65,000 (based on the sale of 105,000 pins and issue of 105,000 scratch cards). The total prize pool will increase in accordance with any additional pins available for purchase and scratch cards issued. Prizes, offers or any unused portion of a prize or offer are not transferable or exchangeable and cannot be taken as cash unless otherwise specified. No responsibility is accepted for any variation in the value of a prize.
13. A draw for any unclaimed instant win prizes may take place on 06/07/2011 (or at a later date at the discretion of the Promoter) at the same time and place as the original draw, subject to any directions from a regulatory authority. Winners’ names (for prizes over NZ$250) will be published on www.paralympics.org.nz on 08/07/2011. For any unclaimed $10 or $50 instant win prizes, these prizes will be bundled into amounts of NZ$100 and awarded to valid entrants drawn in the unclaimed prize draw. Any excess cash that does not fall within a NZ$100 denomination will be awarded as a prize of the remaining amount (eg: if there is NZ$545 worth of unclaimed NZ$5 and NZ$10 prizes, this will form 5 x NZ$100 prizes, and 1 x NZ$45 prize).
14. If this promotion is interfered with in any way or is not capable of being conducted as reasonably anticipated due to any reason beyond the reasonable control of the Promoter, the Promoter reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to the fullest extent permitted by law (a) to disqualify any entrant; or (b) subject to any written directions from a regulatory authority, to modify, suspend, terminate or cancel the promotion, as appropriate.
15. Printing and other quality control errors will not invalidate an otherwise valid prize claim. Unless otherwise due to fraud or ineligibility under these Terms and Conditions, all prize claims in excess of the advertised prize pool will be honoured. Instant win game materials will be void if stolen, forged, mutilated or tampered with in any way.
16. Except for any liability that cannot be excluded by law, the Promoter (including its officers, employees and agents) excludes all liability (including negligence), for any personal injury, or any loss or damage (including loss of opportunity), whether direct, indirect, special or consequential, arising in any way out of the promotion, including, but not limited to, where arising out of the following: (a) any technical difficulties or equipment malfunction (whether or not under the Promoter’s control); (b) any theft, unauthorised access or third party interference; (c) any entry or prize claim that is late, lost, altered, damaged or misdirected (whether or not after their receipt by the Promoter) due to any reason beyond the reasonable control of the Promoter; (d) any variation in prize value to that stated in these Terms and Conditions; (e) any tax liability incurred by a winner or entrant; or (f) a prize.
