Paralympics New Zealand Pin & Win Series 3 Promotion
To be eligible to enter, individuals must during the promotional period purchase a pin to the value of NZ$10.00 or NZ$25.00 and will receive a scratch card.
FOR INSTANT CASH WINNERS: The entrant must scratch their card to reveal whether or not they have won an instant prize. To claim a prize, entrants will be required to complete the back of their original scratch card by inserting their requested details and send their winning scratch card to Paralympics New Zealand “Pin & Win” PO Box 99248 Newmarket, Auckland 1149. Promotion commences on 17/01/2011 and closes 5pm New Zealand local time, on 13/01/2012 (”promotional period”). Entries into the major prize and all claims for instant cash must be received by 5pm on 20/01/2012. The major draw will take place at Paralympics New Zealand, 586 Great South Rd, Greenlane, Auckland New Zealand on 03/02/2012 at 11am. Allow 28 days for receipt of prize. Instant winners who send in their cards will be automatically entered into the major prize draw. The Promoter recommends that winners use registered post; however, this is not a condition of entry and the cost to do so will be the responsibility of the winner.
TO ENTER THE MAJOR DRAW: For non-instant winners to enter the major prize draw, they must complete the back of their original game card by inserting their requested details and then send it to Paralympics New Zealand “Pin & Win” PO Box 99178, Newmarket, Auckland 1149. Or log on to www.paralympics.org.nz and complete the online entry form. Entries for the major prize draw and all cash prize claims must be received by 5pm on 20/01/2012.

Terms & Conditions
1. Information on how to enter and prizes form part of these Terms and Conditions. Participation in this promotion is deemed acceptance of these Terms and Conditions.
2. Entry is only open to New Zealand residents aged 18 years or over. Employees (and their immediate families) of the Promoter and agencies associated with this promotion are ineligible to enter.
3. The Promoter reserves the right, at any time, to verify the validity of entries and entrants (including an entrant’s identity, age and place of residence) and to disqualify any entrant who submits an entry that is not in accordance with these Terms and Conditions or who tampers with the entry process. Errors and omissions will be accepted at the Promoter's discretion. Failure by the Promoter to enforce any of its rights at any stage does not constitute a waiver of those rights. The Promoter’s decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
4. Incomplete, indecipherable, or illegible entries will be deemed invalid.
5. Multiple entries are permitted, subject to the following: (a) only one (1) entry permitted per scratch card received on purchase; and (b) each entry must be submitted separately and in accordance with entry requirements.

Entries into the major prize and all claims for instant cash must be received by 5pm on 20/01/2012. 7. Instant winners will be notified immediately on their scratch ticket in. Major prize draw winner will be notified by mail and their name will be published on www.paralympics.org.nz on 10/02/2012.
8. The first valid entry drawn in the major prize draw will win a CHOICE of $30,000 cash awarded in the form of a cheque; OR a Mitsubishi ASX LS 2WD valued at over $36,000.  Colour choice is subject to availability.  Prize vehicle includes WOF, registration and a tank of fuel. The vehicle is not redeemable for cash.
9. Instant win prizes: All instant win cash prizes will be awarded in the form of a cheque. If additional scratch cards are issued within the promotional period (at the discretion of the Promoter) in response to additional sales of pins, the instant win prizes will increase in proportion to the cash prizes set out below and related odds of winning are summarised in the table below.

10. $25 purchasers will be automatically given 3 entries into the draw when they log online to enter their details on www.paralympics.org.nz. $25 purchasers, who post in their entry, will also be entered into the draw 3 times.
11. If any prize (or part of any prize) is unavailable, the Promoter, in its discretion, reserves the right to substitute the prize (or that part of the prize) with a prize to an equal value and/or specification, subject to any written directions from a regulatory authority.
12. If any instant win cash prizes have not been claimed by 5pm on 20/01/2012, these prizes will be forfeited to the Promoter for use or distribution at its discretion.  If the major prize remains unclaimed by 5pm on 17/02/2012, the major prize will be forfeited to the Promoter and a further draw will then take place on 24/02/2012 at the same time and place as the original draw.  If the major prize still remains unclaimed by 23/03/2012, the major prize will be finally forfeited to the Promoter for use or distribution at its discretion.  The foregoing arrangements apply subject to any written directions from a regulatory authority..
13. If this promotion is interfered with in any way or is not capable of being conducted as reasonably anticipated due to any reason beyond the reasonable control of the Promoter, the Promoter reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to the fullest extent permitted by law (a) to disqualify any entrant; or (b) subject to any written directions from a regulatory authority, to modify, suspend, terminate or cancel the promotion, as appropriate.
14. Printing and other quality control errors will not invalidate an otherwise valid prize claim. Unless otherwise due to fraud or ineligibility under these Terms and Conditions, all prize claims in excess of the advertised prize pool will be honoured. Instant win game materials will be void if stolen, forged, mutilated or tampered with in any way.
15. Except for any liability that cannot be excluded by law, the Promoter (including its officers, employees and agents) excludes all liability (including negligence), for any personal injury, or any loss or damage (including loss of opportunity), whether direct, indirect, special or consequential, arising in any way out of the promotion, including, but not limited to, where arising out of the following: (a) any technical difficulties or equipment malfunction (whether or not under the Promoter’s control); (b) any theft, unauthorized access or third party interference; (c) any entry or prize claim that is late, lost, altered, damaged or misdirected (whether or not after their receipt by the Promoter) due to any reason beyond the reasonable control of the Promoter; (d) any variation in prize value to that stated in these Terms and Conditions; (e) any tax liability incurred by a winner or entrant; or (f) a prize.
16.All entries become the property of the Promoter. Entry into the promotion is deemed to be consent to use of the prize winner’s name and photograph for any promotional purposes, including for the winner’s name to be published on the Promoter’s website.
17. The Promoter collects personal information in order to conduct the promotion and will not disclose such information to third parties, with the exception of parties involved with conducting the promotion such as prize suppliers and, as required, to regulatory authorities. Entry is conditional on providing this information. All personal information will be retained and entrants will only be contacted should they opt to receive further communication from Paralympics New Zealand. Communication may include future offers, promotional events or fundraising activities. All entrants have the right to check, update or suppress their personal information from the promoter’s records at any time. Entrants should direct any request to access, update or correct information to the Promoter.
